Quasr al Touqan-walls

Di nuovo, il Qasr al Touqan. Quel che resta delle mura esterne, invase dalle erbacce ed in rovina. Eppure che magico silenzio, che senso di antichita`, quante storie del tardo impero ottomano verrebbe da immaginare in un posto cosi`. A volte mi sembra che in luoghi come questo abitino ancora i fantasmi delle storie non raccontate. Matrimoni, funerali, bettesimi, lotte, riappacificazioni, feste, vita e morte...

[ENG] Once again, Touqan Palace. This is what is left of the outer walls (i prefer to call them battlements ), now crumbling down, the bricks cracking with weed. Yet what an amazing sense of antiquity, how many stories one could imagine in such a place. Sometimes I wonder if the ghosts of untold tales still linger in those places. Weddings, funerals, fights and clashes, peace, war, holidays, life & death...
